Battle the Rat King! Dragons Are Inherently Lustful?

Calamity-tier creatures also varied in strength. Rat Kings like this one seemed to belong among the weakest of the Calamity-tier.

Even so, it was still stronger than an Evil Spirit-tier creature.

Several hundred mutated rats drooled as they surrounded Gu Qijue and the White Fox.

The Rat King entered while gnawing on a human arm. When it saw another being here that looked both human and monstrous, it paused slightly, narrowed its eyes at Gu Qijue, and asked, "Who are you?"

From this creature, perhaps a monster and perhaps a human, it sensed a bloodline suppression.

"Big Brother Black Dragon, save me!!"

The White Fox before Gu Qijue was enveloped in surging light, transforming into a woman dressed in a white fox-fur skirt. Her silver hair fell to her waist, and she was so beautiful it took one's breath away. Nine tails extended behind her.

In her eyes, Gu Qijue had to be one of her kind who had evolved into a dragon, becoming what he was now.

So, she transformed as well.

"Brother, I advise you not to meddle in other people's business. This seductive fox is mine."

The Rat King squinted at Gu Qijue. "We have no quarrel with each other. You should leave!"

"Leave? Wouldn't it be such a waste not to devour you?"

Gu Qijue licked his lips, a bloodthirsty smile appearing on his face.

At the same time, Dragon Horns grew from his head, a Dragon Tail extended from his tailbone, layers of Dragon Scales emerged across his skin, and two sharp Dragon Teeth protruded from his mouth.

This Rat King was actually Third Order.

Gu Qijue, who was only Second Order, had no choice but to assume his strongest combat form.

"Get him, boys!"

Without further nonsense, the Rat King called upon its several hundred rat underlings to lead the charge.

"Big Brother Black Dragon, leave these little rats to me. Go kill that Rat King. From now on, I'll follow you."

Fangs grew from the White Fox's mouth, and her hands turned into sharp claws as she met the rat monsters lunging at her from all sides.

"Black Dragon King, is it really worth fighting this hard over a fox?"

The Rat King spoke coldly.

"Why so much nonsense? Fight me!!"

Blood light flickered in Gu Qijue's eyes, black mist poured from his mouth, and with a boom, he shattered the floor beneath his feet as he charged forward. With a clang, the Katana in his hand left its sheath, its blade coated in violent Black Dragon Power.

"You're courting death!"

The Rat King let out a long howl. Its pride would not allow it to leave in such disgrace.

Boom! Bang!!

Dragon and rat collided. The Katana struck against the Rat King's claws, producing the sound of metal clashing against metal.

Cold flashes rose in succession, and blade aura pressed forward.

In the first exchange, the Rat King was blasted back several meters, while two deep slash marks were left across its chest by Gu Qijue.

Roar!!

Furious and unwilling to admit defeat, the Rat King roared and charged Gu Qijue again with both claws swinging.

"Sigh. Even with the boost from dragon power, this weapon is still a little lacking."

Gu Qijue sighed. If he had been wielding a Super Warrior Armor Weapon, those two slashes would have inflicted much deeper wounds on the Rat King.

The Rat King's hide might not even be penetrated by missiles.

The only reason Gu Qijue could break through its defense was because of the Black Dragon Power attached to his blade.

Bang! Clang!! Boom! Rumble!

Gu Qijue possessed boundless strength and an incomparably powerful body. The Katana in his hand could slash several times per second. Black blade aura crisscrossed before him as he charged forward with unstoppable momentum, driving the Rat King into repeated retreats. Bloody marks appeared one after another across its towering body.

The Power of Dragons was tyrannical, vast, and majestic. It represented invincibility.

A mere rat, even a Calamity-tier creature, even one order higher than Gu Qijue, could only defend against his attacks now, unable to retaliate.

The Twin Dragons behind Gu Qijue would also launch sudden attacks from time to time, tearing bite after bite of flesh from the Rat King.

"This guy is an order below me. How can he be this strong? Is this what a dragon is?"

After only a brief clash, the Rat King was covered in wounds and terrified to the core. It roared and turned to flee.

"Stay!"

Gu Qijue shouted lowly, circulating the Black Dragon Power within him at full force. In a single second, he slashed five times. Five violent blade lights instantly tore through the air toward the Rat King.

"Damn it!"

Sensing the sharp blade lights whistling toward it from behind, the Rat King cursed and turned around, swinging its claws to block them.

With several bangs, two of its claws were nearly severed.

In that instant, Gu Qijue rushed over with his blade again. With a slash, he cut across the Rat King's chest, leaving behind a long streak of blood.

Roar!!

The Rat King howled in pain and rage. Its body swelled by a full circle, its claws grew to a foot long, and decayed energy seeped from its entire body as it struck out several claw lights.

Gu Qijue swept his blade sideways and cut them apart, then charged forward with a boom. He viciously slashed across the Rat King's waist, while the Twin Dragons behind him launched a simultaneous ambush, tearing away a huge mouthful of flesh from its shoulder.

Aah!!

The Rat King howled in agony, instantly reverting to its original form and fleeing at top speed.

But how could Gu Qijue possibly let it leave alive? He pursued it closely.

Devouring a Calamity-tier Rat King would bring tremendous benefits.

Rat and dragon quickly vanished into the distance.

The White Fox, who was dealing with the remaining rat monsters, watched them disappear. She wanted to leave, but after thinking it over, she ultimately chose not to.

The Black Dragon had charged straight in and fought the Rat King for her without saying a word.

If she left now, then the next time they met, he would probably kill her without mercy.

Making such a terrifying enemy was not a wise choice.

Just as the White Fox finished off the several hundred rat monsters, a figure rapidly approached through the darkness.

Gu Qijue had returned.

His aura was far stronger than before.

He had clearly broken through to Third Order after devouring the Rat King.

Now, he only felt terribly thirsty.

"I thought you ran away."

Gu Qijue was somewhat surprised to see that the White Fox was still there.

The White Fox walked toward him gracefully on her bare, jade-white feet and thanked him, "Big Brother Black Dragon risked his life against the Rat King to save me. How could I dare run away just like that?"

Gu Qijue looked her up and down and found that this fox demon was truly bewitching.

"Master, your thoughts are becoming somewhat wicked." Xiao Yao's voice sounded in his mind.

"Dragons are inherently lustful. Damn it, isn't it your genes causing this? I didn't feel anything when I saw human women, but when I see this monster-like thing, I actually get that kind of urge." Gu Qijue directly pinned the blame on Xiao Yao.

That was the truth.

The woman who had offered her body in exchange for him taking her away earlier had been completely naked, yet Gu Qijue had felt nothing.

But this fox demon gave him that sort of urge.

Am I really no longer human? Gu Qijue laughed bitterly inwardly.

"Fine, blame me for everything." Xiao Yao could not help complaining.

"Big Brother Black Dragon, then I'll follow you from now on."

The White Fox had vivid red lips, an exquisite and seductive face, and beautiful eyes like autumn water that seemed ready to drip with charm. Her figure was tall and shapely, and her voice was soft and coquettish, utterly irresistible.

Suppressing the impulses in his genes, Gu Qijue said, "Then come with me. We're going somewhere."

With that, he turned and swiftly ran toward the zoo.

"Somewhere? He isn't planning to do that to me, is he?"

The White Fox bit her rosy lip and followed him into the distance.
