As the thought fell, Lin Ye's body immediately began to change.

It was that same sensation of coolness that appeared out of nowhere, enveloping his entire body.

The energy transformed from Attribute Points surged from the void, seized by his whole body, tempering his flesh, blood, and bones.

At the same time, Lin Ye suddenly felt a tingling numbness, like a wound healing.

And their carcasses became spoils as well.

These two rounds of Point Allocation gave his strength and speed a notable boost.

At this moment, a thin figure surfaced unbidden in his mind.

That Senior Warrior who once guided him, carrying a death wish, traded an arm and a leg at great cost to barely take down a Primary Beast General.

In the end, the senior was gravely wounded and on the verge of death. Despite seven full days and nights of rescue efforts, his life could not be saved...

Boom!!

Lin Ye stared at the blaze, momentarily dazed, as bursts of explosions rolled in from the distance, snapping his thoughts back to the present.

Even though these were DF-series ultra-small rockets.

Their power was still terrifying, and their coverage wide, making them effective against smaller-scale Beast Tides.

Just one shell—even with his current physique as a high-level Warrior—would shatter him to pieces.

"Boom boom boom!!"

Flames erupted, smoke billowed everywhere.

Even from this distance, Lin Ye could feel the ground tremble faintly.

He pulled his gaze back, his expression sharpening.

That area lit up with fire—there must be troops clashing with a Beast Tide!

"Calling Command Center, requesting confirmation: is there an ongoing battle between military forces and monsters in Area 0023?" Without hesitation, he directly patched into Command Center's channel.

"Affirmative. An Infantry Regiment under the Iron Dragon Army has encountered a small-scale monster horde. Mr. Lin, if you can spare the time, you are free to participate."

"Understood!"

Lin Ye nodded, a new plan already forming in his mind.

With Command Center's confirmation, a sharp glint flashed in his eyes.

A small-scale Beast Tide—wasn't that the perfect opportunity for him to harvest monsters and boost his attributes?

He slung his Saber Case onto his back, returned to the vehicle, and floored the fully loaded off-roader, racing at full speed toward the distant battlefield...

Deafening explosions roared, sparks and smoke blanketing the battlefield.

Around each massive crater, monster limbs and broken carcasses lay scattered in twisted heaps.

A burnt, acrid smell wafted from the charred, unrecognizable remains.

With the first wave of precise strikes from the DF-1.

The Beast Tide's charge was briefly broken apart. The remaining monsters quickly regrouped, but still surged forward madly.

"Open fire!"

From the high ground of the position, the Regiment Commander gave the order.

Thump thump thump!!!

Rat-a-tat-tat!!!

In an instant, the entire defensive line awakened like a slumbering war beast.

Heavy Machine Guns, Grenade Launchers, Rapid-fire Cannons... a blazing curtain of fire woven from layers of heavy weaponry reaped the fearless Wolf-like Monsters.

"Owww... roar!!"

"Owww... howl!!"

The monster horde charged fast, but their casualties were even greater.

The death line woven from missiles and heavy fire alone inflicted massive casualties on the beast horde.

Patch after patch of low-level monsters melted away two to three thousand meters from the defensive line.

Gunpowder smoke billowed, and the rising flames were especially glaring against the night sky.

On the watchtowers already erected around the position, the thick beams of massive searchlights swept across the wilderness, fully exposing the movements of these monsters.

Under the bright light, a number of High-level Beast Soldiers also lurked hidden among the horde.

They crept forward low to the ground, then suddenly burst out and sprinted at full speed as they neared the defensive position...
