65 million years ago, Earth
30 years after the Mars explosion, Troy and his men arrived above the Victoria Space elevator aboard a nuclear-powered spacecraft, ready to begin their plan to seize Earth.
From low Earth orbit, the oceans were no longer blue, and the clouds were no longer white. The entire planet was shrouded in yellow-brown gas and dust, a world of chaos.
Tulus, whom Troy had appointed his second-in-command, said, "Did we come too early? It looks like the poisonous gases haven't cleared yet. Can we really go ahead?"
"Everyone, put on your gas masks. As far as I know, the Victoria Base has oxygen generators, so we can survive. We have to seize Earth before the Alliance fleet does," Troy said confidently.
"Our ship needs to dock with the space elevator station. What if the people inside refuse to open the door?" Tulus asked.
"When the station was designed, priority was given to spacecraft. Safely docking returning astronauts was the most important thing. To deal with malfunctions inside the station, spacecraft can open the emergency hatch from outside," Troy replied.
The docking was successful, and the hatch opened. Troy and the others filed inside, wearing gas masks.
There was only one person aboard the station: Brahma. He seemed to have been frightened by the sudden arrival of the intruders. His hands trembled slightly, his face flushed, and cold sweat beaded on his forehead.
He backed step by step toward the elevator leading down to the surface and blocked it with his body. In a trembling voice, he asked, "What are you going to do?"
Troy forced a malicious smile and glanced at Tulus. Brahma suddenly raised a hand and lunged for the detonator, but Tulus sprang forward, pulled a gleaming dagger from his waist, and drove it
