Chapter 654: Passing

In the Mirror Dimension of Nepal.

The space within shifted irregularly under artificial manipulation. Skyscrapers twisted like blocks in every direction, and several people, as tiny as ants amid the gaps between them, walked as if on steel wires. One misstep would crush them into pulp.

The buildings swayed left one moment and right the next. With neither side directing the attacks, it was clear that several mages were simultaneously fighting for control of the Mirror Dimension.

"Give up already. In here, you can't defeat us." Kaecilius sneered as he landed atop a skyscraper, accompanied by four Dark Mages.

On the other side, only Mordo and Wong remained.

Mordo panted heavily as he climbed the side wall of a skyscraper opposite him. His left hand grasped at the air, trying to make the building beneath Kaecilius and the others collapse.

"How pathetic. Let me show you what despair tastes like!" Kaecilius pressed both hands downward, and the skyscraper beneath Mordo and Wong immediately flipped over, sending the two walking on it plummeting down.

Kaecilius continued strengthening his control over the space, preventing Mordo and Wong from altering it for the moment. He also made the ground below cave in endlessly, trapping them in a deadly loop of infinite falling.

"It's over." Kaecilius brought his hands together, and the surrounding skyscrapers slid inward and contracted, about to crush the falling Mordo and Wong into pulp.

Buzz—

Several skyscrapers abruptly stopped contracting and suddenly spread apart in every direction. The sunken ground below gradually recovered and rose again.

Kaecilius's expression changed. He clearly sensed that, as though its master had returned, the control he held over the Mirror Dimension was forcibly being taken away.

The only one who could do that right in front of him was that woman...
