Thanos Attacks, New York in Crisis

New York City, the area beside where the spacecraft had landed.

With the added support of Quicksilver, War Machine, Wong, and the others, the group led by Iron Man had finally killed Ebony Maw, Supergiant, and Cull Obsidian—the three generals under Thanos who had attacked New York—on the spot!

These three generals had followed Thanos in battle across the stars for many years, and each of them was naturally immensely powerful. In a one-on-one fight, there were truly few on Earth who could defeat them with certainty. Unfortunately, the Avengers, New York Sanctum, Karl Nation, and the other forces stationed in New York were no pushovers either.

Scarlet Witch, who had fought from beginning to end, was mentally exhausted. She sat directly on the grass beside the road and still asked, "Now that the crisis in New York has been resolved, should we head to Wakanda?"

"Logically speaking, Wakanda's combat strength is far greater than ours. They should be able to secure the final victory."

Tony's Iron Man Armor was already covered in scars. He removed his helmet, revealing a weathered, exhausted face, then looked at Wong, who was supporting Doctor Strange nearby, and said between heavy breaths, "The most important thing now is that we protect the Time Stone on Doctor Strange."

Tony shook his head sharply. "No. None of your sanctums are safe enough right now."

Their group already represented all of New York's top combat power. If even this wasn't safe, then nowhere on Earth probably was.
