Di Ku succeeded Zhuanxu as the second of the Five Emperors, advanced the Human Race with a precise calendar, and received the largest share of a vast descent of Merit as he approached the imperial Dao.

• Golden Spirit Mother met Duobao, accepted his order to guide the Human Race’s Emperor Star, and secretly watched over Di Ku.
• Golden Spirit Mother revealed herself to Di Ku of the Gaoxing Tribe, accepted him as her disciple, and taught him knowledge and virtues suited to an emperor.
• After Zhuanxu abdicated, he passed the Human Sovereign’s position to Di Ku, who became the second of the Five Emperors.
• Di Ku developed a calendar based on celestial observations and the seasons, helping the Human Race improve farming and other activities.

Di Ku attained the Dao, and the Heavenly Dao’s Merit strengthened Golden Spirit Mother and the Interception Sect. Decades later, Yao was born, guided by the San Xiao Fairies, and succeeded Di Ku as Human King.

• Di Ku recovered his past-life memories as an Interception Sect disciple and rose to the peak of the Great Principle Golden Immortal level.
• The Heavenly Dao awarded Merit to Golden Spirit Mother and the Interception Sect, while Venerable Yuanshi and the Western Teachings envied the Interception Sect’s gains.
