The sea split open as the ship raced forward.

Even without its sails unfurled, it moved at an astonishing speed.

A treasure map held many secrets. A particular symbol, a few lines of mysterious poetry, or a riddle could all be vital clues—sometimes the key to finding the treasure.

The map left behind by the Solo Pirate Group was likewise full of hidden information.

Among them, a few lines of poetry in the lower-left corner, when matched with the route, revealed an Ocean Current that had yet to be discovered.

Of course, saying it had yet to be discovered wasn't entirely accurate. At the very least... the Solo Pirate Group had successfully put it to use.

"The waters we just passed through were riddled with deadly undercurrents. Ships usually did everything they could to avoid them... Who would've thought that this Ocean Current would let us cross them without a scratch?"

Blackbeard couldn't help sighing at the sight.

The truly safe routes were charted by Navigators over generations, at the cost of their lives.

The Golden Route, for instance, was the safest and fastest passage discovered so far.

Even the slightest change to it demanded an unknown amount of painstaking effort and represented a huge loss of profit.

And this newly opened route had found a way to use an Ocean Current to cross those treacherous waters safely. If word got out, it would surely cause another tremendous stir.

After all, unexplored seas meant more opportunities—and, of course, dangers to go with them.

But the Navigators of this era paid no heed to such things.

The only things that could drive them to risk their lives were the wonders of the world and the astonishing wealth to be found there!
