She lowered her head, and her smooth silver hair fell like a veil, concealing both their faces within it.
"Do you know how dangerous that was?" Her voice was muffled, trembling faintly in a way that was hard to detect. "That Holy Splitting Abyss Halberd almost..."
"Almost means it didn't hit me." Yun Mu stubbornly refused to yield.
Gu Yuena raised a hand and lightly smacked his uninjured shoulder. The blow was so gentle that it could not even knock the dust off him, yet Yun Mu deliberately hissed and put on an act as if he could not bear the pain.
Seeing him clown around and shamelessly play the victim, Gu Yuena was both angry and amused. In the end, she said nothing more. She simply lowered her head, buried her face in the hollow of his neck, and muttered, "Bastard."
Yun Mu raised a hand and gently patted her back, soothing her.
