This book ended here!
It really felt like it would be padded if I kept writing, so after thinking it over, Salted Fish decided to wrap up the remaining plot points a little and leave it at that.
This book started on May 27 last year and was written until this June, with a rewrite in between. It could be considered Salted Fish's only book that had been written for a full year.
I originally planned to pad it out to two million words—no matter what, I had to pad it out to two million words—but after thinking it over, I decided to forget it. Salted Fish was getting tired of it too, and there was really no need to keep padding it.
Also, this was probably the first book where readers had urged me to finish it quickly, hahaha. Whenever Salted Fish's previous books were about to end, there were always readers saying they could keep going and should continue writing, but with this one, the readers were basically shouting for it to end faster.
Honestly, this book felt pretty good. It could be considered a breakthrough for Salted Fish. For some reason, whenever each book reached one million words, Salted Fish would start feeling lazy inside and want to end it. That was why I wanted to hold myself back a little with this one.
Let me report the results as well: the first-subscription count was 1,700+, the current average subscription count was 3,376, and the peak was 13,243. Although the peak compared to the average did not look particularly good, Salted Fish was already very satisfied with this book. Salted Fish knew I did not have much talent for writing either. As far as Salted Fish was concerned, being happy was enough.
Of course, if you found
