"Whew..." Kawaki panted. "If I use Karma too much, I'll lose control."
"I know," Kiyomi said. "Let's find somewhere to rest first."
They found a cave.
After making sure it was safe, the three of them sat down.
"It's only the first day," Boruto said. "And we're already this tired."
"Save your strength," Kiyomi said. "We still have four more days."
Night fell.
All kinds of strange sounds came from the forest.
Kiyomi took the first watch.
Boruto and Kawaki fell asleep.
She stared at the cave entrance, a kunai gripped in her hand.
Suddenly, a shadow darted past.
"Who's there?"
Kiyomi rushed outside.
It was Sylvie.
"It's you." Kiyomi breathed a sigh of relief.
"Are you all right?" Sylvie asked.
"We're fine," Kiyomi said. "How about you?"
"One of my teammates is injured," Sylvie said. "Could I borrow some medicine?"
"Of course."
Kiyomi took out her medical kit.
Sylvie accepted it and turned to leave.
"Wait," Kiyomi called after her. "Which scroll do you have?"
"The Scroll of Heaven."
Kiyomi's eyes lit up.
"Would you trade it?"
Sylvie shook her head.
"Sorry, I need it too."
"Never mind, then."
After Sylvie left, Kiyomi returned to the cave.
"Who was that?" Boruto had woken up.
"Sylvie," Kiyomi said. "She has the Scroll of Heaven."
"Then we could—"
"No," Kiyomi said. "She's our friend."
Boruto nodded.
"Then we'll keep looking for someone else."
The next day.
The three of them continued searching the forest.
They ran into several teams, but none had the Scroll of Heaven.
"Why is it so hard to find?" Boruto complained.
"Be patient."
Just then, an explosion sounded up ahead.
"Someone's fighting again."
They hurried over.
This time, it was Sunagakure and Kumogakure.
Shinra stood to one side, watching his teammates fight.
"Leaf shinobi." He spotted Kiyomi.
