Boruto's expression changed.

"When are they coming?"

"I don't know," Zero said. "But it should be soon."

"You need to be ready."

With that, he disappeared.

Boruto stood there, looking up at the sky.

He hurried back to the village.

When he arrived at the Hokage's Office, Shikamaru was there.

"What's wrong?" Shikamaru asked, noticing his expression.

Boruto told him what had just happened.

Shikamaru's expression changed too.

"The Harvesters..."

"Gather all the Jonin immediately," Boruto said. "We need to prepare."

An hour later, all the Jonin had gathered in the conference room.

Boruto stood at the front.

"I have bad news."

Everyone looked at him.

"The Ōtsutsuki Clan has another secret organization called the Harvesters."

"They're coming to this planet."

"Their goal is to harvest its Life Energy."

The conference room fell silent.

"When are they coming?" Sasuke asked.

"I don't know," Boruto said. "But we need to be ready."

"How should we prepare?"

"Strengthen our defenses," Boruto said. "Set up barriers around the village."

"Also, everyone needs to get stronger."

"Understood."

After the meeting, Boruto returned home.

Kiyomi was waiting for him.

"What happened?"

Boruto told her what was going on.

Kiyomi's expression changed.

"We have to fight again?"

"Yeah," Boruto said. "But this time is different."

"The Harvesters are more dangerous than the Otsutsuki we've faced before."

Kiyomi took his hand.

"Then be careful."

"I will."

Kota walked in.

"Dad, what's wrong?"

"It's nothing." Boruto patted his head. "Go to bed."

After Kota left, Kiyomi said, "Boruto, I'm scared."

"What are you scared of?"

"I'm scared of losing you," Kiyomi said. "I'm always worried whenever you fight."

Boruto held her close.

"That won't happen."

"I promise I'll come back alive."

Kiyomi leaned against his chest.
