Jin leaned back in his chair and glanced at the woman in the image. He had to admit, Mei Terumi had adapted remarkably quickly. From her initial furious resistance to her absolute obedience now, the speed of her psychological shift had surprised even him.
"How is the integration of Kirigakure going?"
"Everything is progressing smoothly, Lord God." Mei Terumi stood and picked up a document from the desk beside her. "The former Kirigakure leadership has been almost entirely replaced. The ninjas who voiced the strongest opposition have been 'appropriately' dealt with, as you instructed."
She opened the document and continued her report. "Kirigakure currently has 32 Jonin, 156 Chunin, and 424 Genin. Of these, 78% have openly declared their support for the United Committee. The remaining 22% are waiting to see how things develop. We haven't found any clear opponents so far."
"How many people were 'appropriately dealt with,' exactly?" Jin's voice was perfectly calm, as though he were asking about the weather.
"A total of 47: 3 Jonin, 14 Chunin, and 30 Genin." Mei Terumi answered in detail, without hiding anything. "We also made proper arrangements for their families and provided them with a measure of compensation. After all, the dead can't speak, but the living's attitude is important."
