Gaara's heart sank.
His opponent knew far too much about the One-Tail.
"What are you doing here?"
"I'm here to make a deal with you." Jin held up one finger. "Hand over control of Sunagakure and acknowledge Divine Court's rule. In return, I'll let your village continue to exist."
"And if I refuse?"
"Refuse?" Jin laughed, a hint of pity in his smile. "You don't seem to understand the situation. This isn't a negotiation. It's a notification."

A violent gale swept toward Jin, but as it came within three meters of him, it vanished without a trace.
"Is this your resistance?" Jin hadn't even moved. "Pathetic."
Gaara's expression grew grim.
The gourd on his back opened by itself, and a vast quantity of sand poured out, surging toward Jin like a tidal wave.
"Sand Waterfall Funeral!"
It was one of Gaara's strongest attacks, powerful enough to crush steel into powder.
Yet the raging sand stopped in midair just before it could touch Jin.
It seemed to have lost all its strength, hovering there docilely.
Gaara's eyes widened.
He realized that a force far stronger than his own had forcibly severed his connection to the sand.
"You control sand because the One-Tail's Chakra altered your body." Jin slowly raised a hand and pointed it at Gaara. "As for me, I control all the Chakra in the world."
He moved his fingers slightly.
The gourd on Gaara's back suddenly trembled violently.
The sand inside—the sand
