When Uchiha Jin spoke that name, the enormous black sphere in the sky seemed to receive its final definition. It was no longer merely a mass of gathered energy, but a weapon imbued with a "concept."
Its surface was smooth as a mirror, reflecting no light at all, only swallowing everything. No trace of Chakra could be felt from it, because all its energy was perfectly contained within, forming an absolutely restrained singularity.
Every ninja present, strong or weak, felt a shudder deep in their soul at that moment. It wasn't fear of overwhelming power, but life itself instinctively resisting "the end" and "nothingness."
"W-what the hell is that thing..." Deidara slumped to the ground. Even his beloved art of explosions seemed so powerless before this "Zeroing." An explosion was an instantaneous release, while this thing was an eternal devouring.
"Y-you've gotta be kidding me..." Killer B's sunglasses slipped down as he watched Chakra continuously spill away from his body and felt his connection with the Eight-Tails, Gyūki, rapidly weakening. "Octopus old man... is crying... yo..."
Naruto was in even worse shape. The Nine-Tails' Chakra was part of his life force, and having it forcibly drained made him feel his life's flame going out inch by inch. He knelt on one knee, gasping for breath, unable to maintain Sage Mode.
"It's over." Jin's voice rang out calmly. "Before 'Zeroing,' none of your resistance matters. It will erase all Chakra in this world, including your lives, your wills, and the so-called 'Bonds' between you. Then I'll use that purest energy as a brush and paint a brand-new, perfect world on this blank canvas."
He raised his hand and pointed at "Zeroing" in the sky.
"The first step is to clean up you eyesores—these 'blemishes.'"
The black sphere began to descend
