He never finished.
Bulma waved a hand. "I'm not your mother. You should call me Aunt Bulma."
Trunks might be "Bulma's" son, but these Bulmas were not the same person. She had asked the other Trunks to call her that, too.
"Aunt... Bulma?"
The name felt awkward to Trunks. "You said you've been to another Future Timeline. Is that how you know about me?"
"Yes."
"..."
Trunks fell silent.
He did not doubt a word this young "mother" of his had said.
If she had never visited another timeline, how could she know so much?
But still!
Trunks had never imagined that he and his mother could struggle so hard to return to the past, only to find that others already knew what had happened in the Future Timeline.
Meanwhile, the Z Fighters had gathered together, trying to take in Trunks's identity and what had happened in the Future Timeline.
"I never thought Vegeta would have a son like that in another timeline." Nappa rubbed his bald head, sounding stunned.
"Nappa, say that any louder and Vegeta might come after you," Raditz said with a laugh.
Nappa immediately clapped a hand over his mouth.
Krillin clenched his fists. "So Goku had a heart condition. No wonder things turned out so badly in that other timeline!"
Tien Shinhan let out a long breath. "Good thing we found out ahead of time. Otherwise, our timeline would have been in serious trouble!"
Just then, Goku stepped forward.
He approached Trunks. "Since Bulma says you're another Bulma's son, what brought you here?"
"I came back to bring you the Heart Disease Special Medicine, Uncle Goku. I hoped it would change the future, but why has the past changed so much?"
