A figure with an Angel Halo floating around his neck strode toward the food, staff in hand.
Bulma stared at the newcomer, wide-eyed. Could this be the Mr. Whis Trunks had mentioned?
She turned and exchanged a look with Trunks.
But Trunks was puzzled too. He had never met Whis in the Past Timeline.
"Excuse me, sir. Are you Mr. Whis?" Trunks approached him cautiously.
"Oh-ho-ho!"
Whis turned with a peculiar laugh. "Weren't you the ones who summoned me? And now you don't recognize me?"
"It really is you, Mr. Whis!"
Overjoyed, Trunks threw his arms around his mother.
"Sir, miss, may I try this food?" Whis asked gently.
"Of course!"
Trunks hurried out of his mother's embrace. He had prepared the food to lure Whis here in the first place.
"Then let me taste what you called the most delicious food in the entire universe."
Whis picked up a pair of chopsticks, went to the braised fish, and slipped a piece into his mouth.
Boom!
The instant it touched his tongue, Whis's eyes flew wide.
Fresh. Fragrant. Tender. Silky.
The astonishing flavor overwhelmed his taste buds. Whis trembled from head to toe.
Bulma glanced at Trunks. "Son, why is Mr. Whis glowing all over?"
"Mom, don't talk."
Trunks quickly covered his mother's mouth.
Bulma from the other timeline had told him that Whis was an angel of principle. Once he tasted someone's cooking, he would usually agree to small requests from them.
Now that they had lured Whis here, they had to let him enjoy the food!
And so, over the next hour:
"My goodness!"
"How can food this delicious exist?"
"It's incredible! I've never eaten anything so delicious!"
"Compared to this, everything I used to eat was garbage!"

Whis let out a moan with every dish he
