From the God-level Arena onward, Universe 7 had consistently suppressed Universe 6.
If Universe 6 had not relied on its group of Former Candidate Gods of Destruction to pull up its score, the gap would have been even wider!

Judging from the score, there seemed to be no suspense left. Unless something unexpected happened, Universe 7 would be the victor.
Then again, Universe 7's Mortal Level Index was 4.2, while Universe 6's was only 4.0.
That was a difference of 0.2!
That 0.2 might seem small, but this was the standard King of All's Universe used to measure the development of an entire universe. Even a difference of 0.1 was enormous!
The competition was nearly over, and the atmosphere at the venue became strange.
"Hahaha, you Universe 6 people! Weren't you saying victory was guaranteed? Why aren't you talking now?"
"Are you going to say the competition isn't over yet, and nobody knows who will win?"
"Stop dreaming! Universe 7 has this Inter-Universal Martial Arts Tournament in the bag!"
"Once we win, we'll receive a hundredfold reward! Go ahead and drool over it!"

The Universe 7 spectators kept taunting them. Some had even begun singing and dancing.
The Universe 6 spectators were no longer making bold claims like before. Their faces were filled with nothing but unwillingness.

"Dad, Uncle Piccolo, you'll both be able to live more than six hundred extra years soon!" Gohan said excitedly.
"Hahaha, that really is something to be happy about!" Piccolo was no longer maintaining his poker face and burst into laughter.
