Li Dan stood at the edge of the crowd, watching the words "Train to Busan" appear on the Ghost Card, and lightly raised an eyebrow.
"Train to Busan."
"Enter: Yes/No."
It was Li Dan's first time encountering something like this. It was somewhat similar to what had happened at Collingwood Manor, but also different.
It told the story of a single father and his daughter taking a high-speed train to Busan. At the very last moment before the train doors closed, a staggering young woman carrying the Zombie virus boarded the train and completed her transformation after entering.
The virus then began to spread and wreak havoc, plunging the train into disaster in an instant.
But Train to Busan never explained why the Zombie outbreak had occurred.
Zombies posed no real danger to him.
He had contained so many of those things that he disliked them for taking up card slots.
Still, Li Dan was curious, so he chose "Yes."
He really was curious—curious about the principles behind this trigger mechanism, curious about the differences between this world and Collingwood Manor, and even more curious about why he had suddenly been pulled into such a timeline.
The moment he made his choice, the air seemed to freeze for a second.
The crowd around him remained noisy, but Li Dan keenly sensed a subtle change.
The waiting hall's smells became more complicated. One of the fluorescent tubes overhead flickered faintly, and the electronic display in the distance showing train information also changed.
Li Dan took out his phone. The signal bar displayed a red X.
He stopped a fashionably dressed young woman and effortlessly borrowed her phone with his looks.
