Thor's words carried a hint of contempt and disdain, but a flicker of curiosity and confusion soon crossed his eyes.

He looked around, seeming to search the shabby interrogation room for something unusual about this "mortal king."

"Don't worry, Coulson. I wasn't planning to actually kill him."

Xia Ling patted Thor's limp body and explained.

"It's just the effect of a little 'tranquilizer.' It'll make him lose consciousness for a while, which will make it easier for us to proceed with our next steps."

"Director, are you sure?"

Coulson still looked doubtful. As far as he could tell, the mentally ill man looked dead, and he couldn't smell anything like a sedative coming
