"Your savior is here!"

A dazzling bolt of lightning split the night sky. Thor descended like a god, swinging Thor's Hammer as he burst through the Khorne cultists' encirclement, sending the enemies who had threatened Tony flying one by one.

Loki stood alone atop a high-rise, shouting down at them. The awkward part was that nobody paid him any attention.

Meanwhile, a large group of armed agents appeared, protecting someone as they slowly made their way over. Tony recognized him, too: S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Xia Ling.

"You're Tony Stark, right? Are you all right?"

With Thor's help, Tony regained his footing. He quickly checked his armor for damage while warily surveying the enemies around him.

"I'm fine. Even if Banner appeared right in front of me, I could fight him. Is this the mental patient you were talking about, Xia Ling?"

Tony replied. No matter how tough he tried to sound, a trace of exhaustion still crept into his voice.

If not for that last remark, Thor would have been quite pleased.

But now he wanted nothing more than to smack the tin man with his beloved little hammer and turn him into a mental patient himself!

Tony paid no attention to Thor's inner thoughts. He looked up toward Xia Ling, surprise flashing in his eyes.

"Director Xia Ling, what's he doing here? He's an ordinary person, yet he dared to come to the battlefield himself. Isn't he afraid he'll die here?"

This mental patient was pretty capable. In that case, there was no need for the Director to join the fight. So why had he come?

Tony's confusion vanished in an instant, because before he'd even finished speaking, the sky suddenly darkened, and an even more powerful aura of evil blanketed the entire battlefield.
