Her eyes glittered with the curiosity and hunger for discovery of a scientist.
"How about this, Bug?" She gave Han Wuji a new nickname. "Let's make a deal."
"A deal?" Han Wuji seized upon a glimmer of hope.
"Mm." The girl nodded and solemnly held out her pinky. "I'll help you sort out this power and make it fully merge with your body, becoming a part of you. In return, you'll stay here so I can 'observe' you whenever I want."
"And," she added, "every so often, you'll have to separate out a tiny bit of this newly fused power and let me 'taste' it."
Han Wuji fell silent.
The deal sounded like going from "being dissected for study" to "being kept in captivity for observation."
Either way, he would lose his freedom.
But did he have any other choice?
The girl's strength was unfathomable. Even he and Murong Xue together wouldn't stand a chance against her. If he refused, she would probably "crush" him on the spot.
