Roger had encountered none other than Galenbu, the Kingdom Navigator.

The man had been ordered to chart the kingdom's maritime borders, but had the bad luck to run into the Cosmic Promotion. Even though he had already felt that completing his mission was a distant dream, he could never have imagined that his hardships were only just beginning.

Since he was near the border, one sudden storm left Galenbu's beloved flagship battered and bruised, forcing him to send it in for major repairs.

Meanwhile, Wu Ming was busy handling a heap of major affairs and would never have noticed a nobody like him.

So even after his ship had been repaired, Galenbu still lamented that his mission was hopeless. At the same time, he had no choice but to carry on with the unfinished work he had set out to do.

As a navigator, he had always been intensely curious about the unknown reaches of the sea, and he was even more eager to see the New World on the other side.

Unfortunately, the storm Wu Ming had whipped up was simply too powerful. Captain Galenbu couldn't go against his crew's desire to stay alive and order them to charge into it. If he had, Galenbu himself would probably have been the first to walk the plank and feed the sharks. So he kept circling these waters, planning to try for the other side once the storm had died down.

But now, Galenbu had made a new discovery.

He held up his spyglass. "Indeed, it doesn't look like any kind of kingdom sailing ship. Could it be from the other side?"

Galenbu's curiosity was instantly piqued. "Close in!"
