Background / History
Wu Ming transmigrated into Great Zhou and inherited the identity of a wastrel young master from the Wu Family Fortified Village. After confirming that the world contained martial arts, Daoism, Confucian cultivation, shamanic sorcery, and Gu techniques, he abandoned reliance on his family’s protection and trained relentlessly to secure his own survival and future 1 2 3.
His life changed when a Jade Pendant brought him into the incomplete Main God Hall. After surviving his first mission in Great Xia and earning 750 merit points, he had the pendant appraised and chose to contribute it despite the risk. The Main God Hall recognized it as a suspected World Origin item and a lost component, granting him the title of Main God Apostle 11.
Wu Ming quickly recognized that the Main God Hall lacked a master and operated according to rigid rules. Rather than treating it as an object of worship, he resolved to seize control of it as a tool for pursuing immortality and, ultimately, eternity 12 308.
Appearance
Wu Ming initially appears as a youth of roughly fifteen or sixteen, with the face of the body he inherited after transmigrating 1. As his cultivation rises, his bearing changes markedly; he grows taller and develops a natural, harmonious Daoist aura that conceals his vitality and makes his strength difficult to judge 193 196.
- Often wears loose Daoist robes, a simple hair bun, and a bamboo crown in Great Zhou 196.
- Can assume locally appropriate identities and clothing during Main God Hall missions 48 136.
- When wielding divine authority, he manifests in ceremonial robes and a crown with twelve pearl strings, carrying a green jade seal 123.
- His True Man Primordial Spirit appears as a jade-faced Daoist wearing a star crown, accompanied by a purple-green serpent and five-colored lightning 188.
Personality
Wu Ming is intensely pragmatic and self-reliant. From his earliest days in Great Zhou, he rejects the idea of depending on others for protection and treats personal strength as essential to survival 3. He is cautious around unfamiliar Reincarnators and organizations, refusing Tu Yanghao’s invitation because of the Blood Oath Alliance’s reputation while remaining willing to cooperate when their interests align 18 22.
He approaches risks as calculations rather than matters of pride. When the situation in Black Mountain becomes untenable, he considers lowering the mission difficulty and retreating rather than fighting a hopeless battle 123. Conversely, he will make decisive gambles when the potential reward is great, such as contributing the Jade Pendant or confronting the Main God Hall’s residual will 11 267.
Wu Ming can be ruthless toward enemies, but his pragmatism also leaves room for mercy when submission is more useful than execution. He spared Lord of Black Mountain through reincarnation, forced the Five Poisons Gentleman into service rather than killing him, and ordered Dugu Ao’s body to be buried properly after defeating him 126 402 542.
His central ambition is transcendence. He considers the Main God Hall a means to reach the “other shore,” not an end in itself, and remains committed to seeking eternity even after reaching Great Luo 308 753 789.
Abilities & Skills
Daoist Cultivation and Primordial Spirit
Wu Ming follows an Immortal Path refined through experience across multiple worlds. His True Man Primordial Spirit grants him abilities beyond his physical body and later supports his advancement through the Earth, Heavenly, Golden, and Great Luo Immortal stages.

- His Dao techniques are subject to local world suppression; using Heavenly Immortal Power in the Divine Martial World carries a high cost 504 506.
- Must avoid excessive interference in Human Path struggles, which can invite Heavenly Punishment even against an Earth Immortal 255.
Martial Arts
Wu Ming began by tempering his body and developed formidable martial skill before becoming a high-level cultivator.

Main God Hall Authority
Wu Ming’s defining power is his evolving control over the Main God Hall, an artifact designed to traverse worlds and aid transcendence.
- Became a Main God Apostle after contributing a Jade Pendant linked to the Hall’s missing components 11.
- Used Apostle authority to enhance mission rewards, reduce exchange costs, and later gain a limited immunity to Annihilation for mission failure 65 127.
- Gained the ability to have his true body enter the Main God Hall, providing protection from threats outside the space 91 188.
- As Sovereign Controller, gained authority to create missions and modify Reincarnator reward rules 287 502.
- Took full control as the Sovereign and learned to use the Hall’s Great Luo traversal and Creation powers 308 316.
- After attaining Great Luo, transformed the Hall into part of his own Yellow Court World; it became an extension of his will rather than an artifact governed by another master 789.

- Later detached his divine decree, which became the sentient Eastern Peak Emperor and remained behind as the World of Gods and Ghosts’ Heavenly Emperor 127.
Spirit Taming
In the Phantom Spirit World, Wu Ming advanced as a Spirit Tamer and amassed elite Phantom Spirits.
- Contracted the Lava Tyrant and demonstrated Lord-level status 402.
- Controlled at least three additional peak Lord-level Phantom Spirits, enough to break the Five Poisons Battle Formation 402.
- Used the Immortal Ascension Dragon King to reach King level 413.
- Received Main God Hall empowerment that accelerated the growth of the Sky-Blue Evil Wolf King, Great Roc Ming King, and Gods and Ghosts Heavenly Secret Star 413.

- Developed the Yellow Court Blessed Land by infusing it with Earth Qi, spirit plants, animals, and spirit rice 443.

- Created three additional Illusory Immortal Realms for Reincarnator testing: a historical instance, a fantasy instance, and a fabricated false plane 682.
- Gained the Sky-Stealing Platform, allowing the Main God Hall to draw energy from chaos and become self-sufficient 753.
