The saber vanished halfway through its swing... along with the person wielding it.
In their place, a tiny drop of water appeared.

"Am I supposed to wait for you to finish transforming?"
"What do you think this is, a tokusatsu show?"
Chu Yunyi casually lifted his saber and sent the half of the head, which was the size of a sandbag, flying.
He gave the saber a flourish.
Then he put the Black Gold Shock Saber directly into his [Portable Space].
While the Wrath patient was transforming, before the transformation was complete,
Chu Yunyi had decisively switched places with him, then activated the Black Gold Shock Saber's polymer-cutting mode with all the momentum he could muster.
That strike
was nothing like the bullets from before. It sliced right through the Wrath patient's basic structure, leaving him no chance of survival.

The bright lights flickered, all because a truly enormous monster was swaying back and forth.
The monster, a mountain of useless flesh, was the Gluttony Leader.
His entire body had already taken on a strange orange hue.
He looked
just like a human who'd eaten too many carrots, his whole body stained with pigment.
Even so,
the Gluttony Leader kept eating.
He didn't care whether the shelves held fresh fish, frozen food, or drinks.
He chewed them up with their packaging still on.
What's more,
he even lifted an entire shelf and shoved it into his mouth, chewing away. The sounds of his chewing and swallowing filled the distribution center.
Just then,
Chu Yunyi pushed open the door and immediately spotted the Gluttony Leader inside.
But the Gluttony Leader didn't see him.
The Gluttony Leader was so enormous, like a greasy ball of flesh taking up all the space, that he could've filled a whole stadium.
He probably couldn't even see his own lower half.
His head nearly touched the lights on the ceiling.
Just going by size, this guy was about as big as the Wrath patient, if not wider.
Even turning around must have been incredibly difficult.
Still,
that pair of enormously fat arms looked like a threat.
As Chu Yunyi thought this, he casually picked up a can of fruit from a shelf, intending to throw it at the back of the Gluttony patient's head.
Sniff!
"What's that smell? A human?!" The Gluttony patient's eyes lit up as he sniffed the air.
He hadn't eaten real food in ages.
To him, humans were the only true food.
As for all the food in the distribution center, at most it was just nourishment—something with a bit of flavor.
The moment he caught the scent,
the Gluttony patient grew even more excited, searching frantically for its source.
"I found you!" the Gluttony patient roared, turning around abruptly.
Rumble...
Rumble...
The whole floor shuddered, seeming to rise and fall beneath them.
At that moment,
Chu Yunyi decided to stop holding back and hurled the can of fruit at the Gluttony patient's head!
Bang!
The Gluttony patient reached out with his enormous hand, caught it, and tossed it into his mouth.
"A little snack before the meal? Ha ha ha." The Gluttony patient chuckled.
But with fat squeezing his vocal cords, his voice came out hoarse and unpleasant, making Chu Yunyi want to wash out his ears.
Watching the Gluttony patient swallow the can whole,
Chu Yunyi couldn't think of a way to deal with him right away, so he decided to put some distance between them.
He glanced around.
The shelves nearby had already been cleared out, but he could see the goods farther away.
The next moment,
he used No. 14, [Welcome and Farewell]!
Whoosh!
Without a sound, Chu Yunyi seemed to turn into a gust of wind, appearing instantly in another spot.
The Gluttony patient began searching around again.
"Shadow," Chu Yunyi called, and the shadow solidified.
Together, they picked up countless goods and threw them at the Gluttony patient.
"Hm!?"
The Gluttony patient whipped around and opened his mouth, swallowing them all.
"Are you feeding me? I'm so hungry!"
"Let me eat you! I'll eat your head, eat your spleen!" the Gluttony patient shouted, lowering himself to the ground.
Like a tunnel made of flesh, the Gluttony patient could probably swallow a truck whole.
Rumble!
He merely rolled over, and the surrounding shelves toppled one after another.
As the abyssal maw came hurtling toward him, Chu Yunyi sent a thought to Shadow, and the two of them ran in opposite directions.
"Hey, over here!" Chu Yunyi beckoned with a finger, drawing the Gluttony Leader's attention.
It went just as he'd expected.
The Gluttony Leader charged straight at him, not sparing Shadow even a glance.
While Chu Yunyi kept the Gluttony patient distracted,
Shadow had already grabbed a number of items and thrown them onto the Gluttony patient's head.
Whoosh!
Chu Yunyi flashed into the air above the Gluttony patient.
He slashed once, but nothing happened.
It didn't even break the skin?!
Chu Yunyi stared, amazed at just how enormous the Gluttony patient was.
It wasn't that the Black Gold Shock Saber was useless or couldn't cut through even a layer of skin. The Gluttony Leader's skin was simply so thick that the blade had already reached the layer of fat!
"Shit..."
Chu Yunyi was about to look elsewhere and teleport away.
But despite his size, the Gluttony Leader wasn't slow. In an instant, his enormous hand closed around Chu Yunyi and tossed him into his mouth.
"Damn it!"
Chu Yunyi braced himself with both legs in midair, forcing the Gluttony Leader's mouth open.
Then he struck three more times, cutting a huge triangular-prism-shaped gap into it.
Chu Yunyi immediately crouched low and sliced off one of the Gluttony Leader's teeth, each as big as a human head, then hurled it outward.
Chu Yunyi glanced at it, then instantly used No. 14, [Welcome and Farewell].
Whoosh!
Chu Yunyi appeared above the Gluttony Leader's head and slashed straight at the center of his brow!
Polymer-cutting mode, on!
In an instant,
the blade seemed to pierce straight through empty air, meeting not the slightest resistance.
"Like a hot knife through butter," "cutting through iron like mud," "so sharp it could cut a hair in midair"—none of those phrases could capture the Black Gold Shock Saber's terrifying power.
Given Chu Yunyi's terrible command of idioms,
it was like...
walking into an unguarded place!

The tremendous heat surged as Chu Yunyi gripped the hilt and ran across the Gluttony Leader's head!
The Black Gold Shock Saber, buried inside it, ran along with him!
