Nano Machines and Biological Cells Fuse

Chu Yunyi activated his Ion Shield. When the toxin struck it, a cloud of green mist formed, and his Shield Energy dropped by 8%. He immediately fired a Nano Decomposition Ray. It hit the Fusion Body's mechanical parts, dissolving them instantly, but its biological parts regenerated rapidly, even evolving a layer of keratin resistant to the ray. "They can adapt to attacks through Biological Evolution!" Chu Yunyi thought, his heart tightening. He maneuvered the Xingqiong-IV to evade the Fusion Bodies' encirclement while releasing a "Bio-Signal Interference Wave." The wave disrupted the communication signals of biological cells, temporarily preventing the Fusion Bodies from regenerating.

The interference wave worked, and the Fusion Bodies' biological parts regenerated noticeably more slowly. Seizing the opportunity, Chu Yunyi piloted the Xingqiong-IV toward a Metal Colony Satellite occupied by Fusion Bodies, hoping to find the source of the signal. The satellite's surface was covered with nests of Bio-Nano Fusions, from which new Fusion Bodies continuously poured out. The scanner showed that the signal's core source lay inside the satellite, in the "Bio-Mechanical Fusion Laboratory." It had once been a facility where two civilizations worked together to study Fusion Technology, but it had now been altered by an Unknown Power.

Infiltrating the Fusion Laboratory and Uncovering the Evolution Core

Chu Yunyi docked the Xingqiong-IV at an abandoned hatch on the satellite's far side and put on his upgraded "Bio-Nano Protective Battle Armor." Its surface was coated with two layers of protection, one against Biological Toxins and the other against Nano Machines, and it came equipped with a Bio-Signal Shielding Device. He piloted a small Shuttle Craft through the abandoned hatch and into the satellite.

The satellite's corridors were filled with Viscous Biological Slime and Nano Machine Silk. The slime was highly corrosive, while the silk could sense vibrations
