A thousand-meter Devouring Gravitational Aberration Beast was the first to lock onto the Starvault-IX. It opened its enormous mouth, forming a Gravitational Vortex a hundred meters in diameter. Starvault-IX's Star Core Thrusters ran at full power, yet the gravity generated by the vortex still tugged at the ship, drawing it toward the beast.
