Background / History

Before becoming a god, the Main God was the ghost of an unnamed bipedal carbon-based lifeform from a Stone Age civilization. It eventually obtained the Reincarnation Authority without warning, then used that Authority to experience different forms of life and develop methods of traveling among worlds. 280

After discovering that numerous universes contained an “Earth” with widely known fantasy works, it built the Reincarnation Space. Through this system, it cultivated Reincarnators and dispatched them into other worlds to plunder resources and World Origin in small but repeated incursions. 209

The Main God accumulated six Rule Domain Worlds, apparently patterned after the Six Paths: Heavenly Dao, Human Path, Asura Path, Animal Path, Hungry Ghost Path, and Hell Path. Its domains impose localized rules and can forcibly assign identities to intruders. 265 273 281

Appearance

The Main God initially appears less as a conventional body than as an omnipresent presence integrated into the Anomaly World. Its primary consciousness is a colossal mass with distributed clones, while its true form is described as a specter. 251 256 271

• Its manifested divine form is a colossal skeletal giant assembled from projections across its six Rule Domains. 274
• The manifestation includes a grey-white skull, white-bone armor, arm, leg, and foot, plus a vast reddish-brown surrounding phantom. 274

The Main God became emotionally detached after possessing the Reincarnation Authority for ages. It treats worlds, inhabitants, and Reincarnators as pieces on a manipulable chessboard rather than equals. 284 313

It is patient and calculating in battle. Rather than immediately resisting Chu Yunyi’s destruction of its Rule Domains, it allowed casualties to accumulate so that its Sin Means Death Rule could gather sufficient Death Rule to execute him. 284

Despite its detachment, the Main God can still experience shock, fear, unease, and panic when confronted by powers beyond its understanding—especially Chu Yunyi’s Concept-based abilities. 285 304

Chu Yunyi identifies the Main God as the force behind Reincarnators, Reincarnation Space, and Infinite Flow. He concludes that it uses Reincarnators to harvest resources and World Origin from other worlds. 209

Infiltration of the Anomaly World

Chu Yunyi and Corpse King Bai Qie forge Reincarnator identities and enter the Main God’s small, anomalous territory through the Empty Door. There, Chu Yunyi discovers that the Main God is seemingly omnipresent because its consciousness is distributed throughout the world. 248 251

Revelation of the True Form

Chu Yunyi locates the Main God’s primary body and learns that it is alert. The Main God attacks with Rule power, then reveals its specter-like nature and six Rule Domain Worlds. 256 271 273

Battle of the God of Reincarnation

The Main God manifests its colossal skeletal form and opens with three Rule-based killing moves. Although Chu Yunyi repeatedly damages it with Concept abilities and the Desire Realm Authority, the Main God exploits casualties in its domains to prepare Sin Means Death as a counterattack. 276 278 284

The System God summons twelve powerful Hosts to delay the Main God while Chu Yunyi prepares his decisive attack. Teng Ziping’s Play God ability controls the Main God for 114 seconds, but the Main God eventually breaks free and exterminates the Hosts. 293 296 300

Defeat and Loss of Authority

Chu Yunyi uses the Sky Worrying Sword to sever a third of the Main God’s divine body. Following its defeat, he honors his contract with the System God by giving it the Reincarnation Authority, while retaining the remaining spoils. 304 305

The Main God’s defeat yields four Ability Table Balls—three red and one black—confirming its destruction as a major source of World Origin and new abilities. 308
