Ch. 101Surrender
Uchiha Fugaku accused Sarutobi Hiruzen, Utatane Koharu, and Mitokado Homura of crimes against Konoha, and the elders surrendered to avoid implicating their clans. Hiruzen accepted defeat and asked that Minagawa Uchiha succeed him as the Fifth Hokage.
- Utatane Koharu and Mitokado Homura confronted the Uchiha-led crowd, but fell silent when they saw how many clans opposed them.
- Uchiha Fugaku announced Hiruzen’s alleged crimes and ordered Koharu and Homura to come with the Military Police Force for investigation.
- Homura accepted responsibility on behalf of the elders and urged the three clans to return home and protect the village.
- Minagawa Uchiha released the exhausted Hiruzen from the Kamui World, and Hiruzen gave up resisting after hearing Homura’s words.
- Hiruzen admitted defeat to Minagawa and named him as his choice for Fifth Hokage in his final order.
