"Brother Chou, Brother Chou, look over there!"
Just as the Dragon Saber Squad charged into the Golden Eye Tiger pack and began slaughtering them, one of the Great Wind Squad members cried out in surprise from a distance.
"What is it?"
Li Chou was bored out of his mind. They had been in the mountains for half a day, yet they had neither found their mission target, the Red Moon Earth Bear, nor seen any other Monster Beasts. It was as if someone had swept through Baiyin Mountain from top to bottom.
But when he looked closely and saw the Dragon Saber Squad fighting the Golden Eye Tiger pack, his face lit up with delight. "Holy crap, our luck's finally turning around! Let's head down and take a look. Maybe we can get some news about the Red Moon Earth Bear."
"Let's go! Let's all head down and take a look."
Everyone in the Great Wind Squad perked up and headed briskly down the mountain.
Zhang Yu, carrying the big gun, the A-90, trotted along behind them. "Brother Chou, slow down! I'm carrying this huge thing!"
"Heh heh, Zhang Yu, you can jog along at your own pace back there."
One of the squad members teased him.
Seeing that none of those guys had waited for him, Zhang Yu angrily raised the A-90 and waved it at them. But then he stopped.
If he remembered correctly—and he was pretty sure he did—the A-90 had a sixteen-power optical scope.
Zhang Yu grinned. What good did it do those guys to run so fast? Even standing right here, he could see the hairs on a fly's legs several kilometers away.
Since he was already lagging behind, Zhang Yu simply rested the A-90 on a boulder and looked down through the scope.
