Entered But Not Fully

The Unicorn Giant Beast, finding its charge futile, opened its massive maw and gathered a yellow glow deep in its throat, then abruptly spat it out.

The yellow orb left its mouth, transforming into a beam of light over a meter in diameter that slammed into Lin Yu.

The violent energy tore up the ground, churned the air, and kicked up a blinding cloud of dust.

Seeing this, a cruel glee flickered in the beast's massive earth-yellow vertical pupils.

But soon, that look shifted into uncontrollable terror.

Following its gaze, within the dust, streams of earth-yellow light flowed like rivers into the sea, pouring into the youth's body.

Before long, the yellow light vanished entirely, leaving only the half-naked youth standing there, completely unharmed, even the grass skirt around his waist intact.

"Whoa~ Now that's interesting. What kind of energy is this?"

He gave two approving remarks, then walked to the beast's head, looked down into its yellow eye—larger than his own head—and said flatly:
