As the streaming light faded, Li Jing, already imposing and burly, grew another size larger.
His ordinary azure robes had been completely covered by a heavy suit of dark blue-black armor.
Dao patterns were engraved across it, beast heads swallowed his shoulders, dragon scales coiled around his waist, and faint water-like Spiritual Light flowed between the patterns, adding a sci-fi-like sense of energy to the ancient armor.
Li Jing stared at the imposing armor on his body in amazement and could not help clenching his fist, testing the armor's power.

In an instant, energy hummed and erupted with Li Jing's clenched fist. It easily crushed the air, scattering a cloud of pale blue motes of light through the sky.
"What an incredible boost!"
A look of astonishment appeared on Li Jing's face, and he immediately realized the value of this Power Armor.
If every soldier in Chentang Pass could wear such armor, how could the demons and monsters they had faced in the past possibly pose any threat to Chentang Pass?

"Are such treasures truly extremely common in that world?"
