Arc 1Jin Joins the Battlefield

Uchiha Jin kept concealing his strength while his actions around the Uchiha deaths helped Leaf Village turn suspicion toward Cloud Village. After Shisui helped secure compensation and supplies for him, Jin was assigned to Squad 7 and sent toward the front as war with Mist Village began.

Arc 2The Mist Front and Shisui

Uchiha Jin and his companions survived the Mist Village assault, reached Uchiha Shisui’s forces, and gained promotions. Jin then discussed building an independent network with Nara Kazama and challenged Shisui’s understanding of the Uchiha conflict.

  • Uchiha Jin and Nara Kazama exposed Ishikawa Itsuki’s reckless charge during a Mist ambush, then concealed the loss of supplies and shifted blame onto Itsuki.
  • Nara Kazama revealed why he hid his abilities, while Jin learned that Shikaku Nara had sent Kazama to assess him and that the clan might invest in him.
  • At Outpost No. 27, Jin’s team discovered that four thousand Mist ninja were preparing an assault, so Jin ordered Kudo Shin to send a warning flare before they escaped.

Uchiha Jin helped Shisui confront the Uchiha Clan’s weakness, then led their squad to wipe out the Seven Ninja Swordsmen and concealed his true strength behind a story about awakening the Mangekyō. As Hiruzen blocked Danzo from taking control of Jin, Jin awakened his real Mangekyō and showed it to Shisui, Kazama, and Aya.

  • Uchiha Jin warned Shisui that the village leadership had hidden the truth about Sakumo Hatake, leading Shisui to doubt Hiruzen and ask Jin how to save the Uchiha Clan.

Arc 4Jin’s Rise and Itachi’s Lessons

Uchiha Jin secured his standing in the Uchiha Clan, secretly resolved Hyuga Aya’s predicament, and began teaching Itachi while forming ties with Minato’s team. The stretch ended with Fugaku preparing to elevate Jin and Itachi waiting at his home to train.

  • Uchiha Jin explained his Yin Style theory to Shisui, then learned of the squad’s promotions and predicted that he would remain in Leaf Village while his companions returned to the battlefield.
  • Uchiha Jin accepted Fugaku’s offer of an elder’s position, clan benefits, and leadership of the Konoha Guard Force, then returned to Leaf Village as the war moved toward a ceasefire.
