Learning Soul Tools

After returning from the Spirit Pagoda, Su Hao went back to the dormitory and began reading the books Cao Hongwen had given him: Research on Soul Tools, How to Make Soul Tools, and A Quick Guide from Beginner to Making Soul Tools.

He found that they covered the theory and production of basic Soul Tools. Su Hao started with Research on Soul Tools. With the help of the system's entries, he understood the contents after reading it once and could even draw further inferences from it.

He had no idea how much time had passed when, as he read intently, the dormitory door suddenly opened.

Ma Tianyu and the other two walked in from outside. Their arrival startled Su Hao out of his deep reading. He glanced out the window and found that it was already dark.

"Boss, do you have to go to the Spirit Pagoda every week now?"

"Student Su, you may not know this, but yesterday afternoon, Zhang Yangzi and the other two were openly recruiting lackeys in the class. They wanted to compete with you for the position of Class Monitor. We couldn't stand it, but we also knew we couldn't beat Zhang Yangzi, so we came to join you."
