Hearing sounds from outside, Su Hao and Gu Yue finally came back to their senses. They quickly surveyed their surroundings and discovered that they were inside a stone chamber.
The chamber was enormous, large enough to hold tens of thousands of people at a glance. Nine massive stone pillars supported its domed ceiling.
Behind Su Hao and Gu Yue stood an altar, and behind the altar was a statue that reached roughly two-thirds of the chamber's height.
Sunlight from outside streamed through the gaps and fell upon the statue.
Looking up at the statue from below, one could feel its solemn majesty.
What Su Hao and Gu Yue had not expected was that the statue resembled Su Hao by nearly ninety percent, as though it depicted what he would look like several years later.

The other woman wore jade-green clothing and had a petite figure. She too had jade-green hair that reached her feet, and her eyes were the same color, though they held a cold, proud gaze.
As for the others, each had their own distinctive traits.
