Wang Zhanshan oversees Dongqi University’s Martial Arts Team and is responsible for fielding its students in inter-university events. When Dongyi Sports Institute presses for a second-year competition, Dean Zhang orders Wang to assemble the available students; he includes Zhao Rui because the second-year roster is short. 54

Following the arrival of a strong freshman class, Wang restructures the team’s training.
