One Year

Roland knew nothing of what was happening beyond distant time and space. After a thread of Feng Lixi's ice-blue energy entered his body, he fell unconscious.

That wisp of energy followed the circulation of his blood and Ki into every cell in his body, then lay dormant as if it had made its home there.

On the Floating Island, Bardock saw that Roland had entered the water sphere and still had not come out after a long time, and anxiety began to stir in his heart. But right now, aside from waiting, there seemed to be nothing else he could do. The twenty-meter distance to the water sphere was like a barrier, cutting off his steps forward.

"Since Roland was able to get in, there shouldn't be any problem."

Holding on to that hope, Bardock sat on the soft ground. Suddenly, a problem occurred to him—the aircraft had been left behind on Planet Plant and had not been brought along. Right now, he was all alone, without even food supplies. If something really happened to Roland, then with his abilities alone, how was he supposed to leave this place?

Although with his current strength, crossing the universe seemed like it should not be a problem, he did not have enough stamina to hold out until the next planet!
