Roland's warning had changed Supreme Kai Shin's thinking to some extent. He did have a certain amount of self-awareness and knew his own shortcomings, so after Old Kai emerged, he positioned himself as an assistant.
Since he was still very young, he needed Old Kai to steer the course on many matters.
Old Kai took Shin's change in stride and nodded in relief. This junior could still listen to reason; he was not beyond saving.
It did not matter if he was young. He could simply start over as an Apprentice Supreme Kai.
After speaking a little more with Old Kai, Roland did not stay long in Supreme Kai World. He took his leave from them, and Old Kai thanked him profusely as he saw him off, even offering to have Kibito send him back. Roland waved it off and, right in front of them, activated Instant Transmission and vanished.
Watching Roland disappear, Old Kai said with emotion, "What a powerful and admirable Dragon God. Universe 7 is truly fortunate to have a guardian like him."
Compared to him, Beerus, the God of Destruction, was far too irresponsible.
"Yes. If it weren't for Dragon God Roland, I still wouldn't have known the universe had so many secrets," Shin said, his face full of relief.
Old Kai raised his fist and knocked Shin hard on the head, hating his lack of ambition as he scolded, "Isn't that because you're too useless? Even if you didn't know the truth, didn't you know how to use Instant Transmission? That ability alone is enough to let you leave Universe 7."
"Ah..." Shin cried out in shock, clutching his head. "Instant Transmission can leave the universe too?"
