When Benjamin slowly awoke from his deep coma, his vision was still somewhat blurred.
His eyelids felt as heavy as lead, and the entire world swayed amid hazy shadows and light.
In his daze, he vaguely sensed a blurred figure at his side, as though it had been silently watching over him all along.
"You're awake." A gentle female voice, soft as water and carrying a healing power, sounded lightly by his ear. "Do you feel any discomfort anywhere?"
The voice was filled with concern, and Benjamin's nerves, taut from his severe injuries, unconsciously relaxed a little.
Yet at that very moment, his blurred vision finally refocused and became clear.
