Chapter 253: Purchase and Leasing
Benjamin discovered a group of very familiar creatures!
They had spider-like, segmented bodies, with abdomens and tails that suddenly extended behind them, as flexible as snakes.
Aside from the two aggressive forelimbs at the front of their bodies being somewhat smaller, and the fine fuzz covering the pitch-black carapaces on their bodies,
their overall appearance was a complete replica of the "Spider-Snake Monsters" Benjamin had previously captured in the wild that could use spatial abilities!
Most importantly, the number of Spider-Snakes this wizard had captured at this stall was enormous!
Besides the few live specimens displayed before the stall, several huge metal cages behind him held no fewer than several hundred of the creatures.
"What are these?" Benjamin forcefully suppressed his surprise and pointed at the creatures in the cages as he questioned the stall owner.
He did not hide his interest in these creatures. After all, wizards were not fools; there had to be a reason for asking so suddenly.
This wizard looked somewhat disheveled.
He raised his eyes to glance at Benjamin, then immediately put on an enthusiastic smile and began introducing the creatures:
"This wizard truly has a discerning eye! These are little creatures I have temporarily named 'Soundwave Spider-Snakes.' They live at the bottom of the food chain beneath the clouds and mist. Their greatest traits are that they live in groups and can use 'soundwave-type' abilities."
"If an entire colony launches an attack together, the power of their combined soundwaves is quite impressive. It can even affect the minds of Level 2 Wizards. But their individual strength is too weak; they are not even as strong as Level 1 Wizard apprentices, so they are easy to capture."
