Benjamin could not help but laugh. In order to obtain as many resources and as much knowledge as possible, the wizards had truly racked their brains, even paying attention to the psychological issues of the invaded planes.
"They're practically playing with children!"
He withdrew his gaze and began observing this unfamiliar yet vibrant plane.
The air was thick with dense, chaotic energy.
There were obvious traces of runes left behind by wizardry in the atmosphere, but even more abundant were Eloria's native natural energy and divine energy.
Like two intertwined rivers, they collided and merged in the air, forming a unique energy field.
Clearly, after a long period of battle, this plane's laws had already begun to be eroded by the wizards.
Even if apprentices like them accomplished nothing effective, if the stalemate continued for a few more years, this plane would eventually fall to the wizards.
All around him, towering primeval forests blocked out most of the sunlight. Ancient trees rose from the earth, their trunks so thick that dozens of people would be needed to encircle them.
Strange vines coiled around the trunks like giant pythons, their leaves broad and oddly shaped.
From afar came waves of unfamiliar beast roars, mixed with the shrill cries of birds of prey and the heavy footsteps of some enormous creature, proclaiming the savagery and danger of this land.
The sky overhead was an even more spectacular sight.
Part of it was occupied by rune fortresses constructed by the wizards through powerful Alchemy combined with runes. They floated high in the air, giving off the cold, orderly glow unique to wizards, like scars across the sky.
The other part consisted of projections of divine kingdoms manifested by the gods of Eloria Plane. Their light was holy, their colors dazzling, dreamlike and illusory.
