Dark crimson flesh-beasts loomed like moving mountains, pus and arcs of electricity flowing across their bodies. Every step they took split the earth apart.
The gray-white skeleton legions marched forward in silence, cold soul-fire flickering in their eye sockets, their bone weapons carved with runes of annihilation.
Hovering in midair were countless mutated flying units—some resembled skinned bats, some were grotesque unions of eyeballs and tentacles, while others were simply masses of shadow constantly changing shape.
The overwhelming majority of these cannon fodder units ranged from Level 3 to Level 5, but their numbers were—beyond counting.
Like a true tsunami, they rolled forward toward Noren Workshop's defensive line on sheer weight of numbers.
Before them stood a Great Wall of steel formed by more than a hundred pitch-black metal fortresses linked together.
Across the fortresses' surfaces, hundreds of millions of defensive runes flickered at a fixed rhythm, forming a translucent pale-gold energy barrier from the foundations to the very peaks.
