The entire ship Plane had descended into chaos.
The protective barrier in the sky flickered madly as if stricken with malaria—blindingly bright one moment, so dim it nearly vanished the next.
A piercing hum came from the direction of the large Elemental Pool in the distance. Its energy output fluctuated violently, warping the air around the pool itself. Worse still were the people.
Benjamin saw at least several dozen wizards collapsed on the ground.
Their eyes were blank, their pupils unfocused. They were still breathing, yet they showed no response to any outside stimulus... exactly like those Silent Ones from before. Other wizards anxiously tried to wake them beside them.
