Nature

Cultivation System

Spiritual Power is a will-imprinted power formed through the interaction of essence, qi, spirit, and Spirit Energy. It can connect Benjamin’s consciousness to his Internal Space and is mobilized through cultivation methods and divine sense. 348

Spirit Energy itself is not merely energy: Benjamin concludes that it is the fundamental particle of the Immortal Cultivation World, more accurately described as “spirit particles.” It has yin and yang forms and underlies cultivation-world matter, energy, time, space, and fate. 82

Cultivation techniques normally work by decomposing substances or phenomena—such as physical essence, starlight, emotions, deathly energy, and Killing Intent—into usable Spirit Energy. 82

Wizard System

In wizardry, spiritual power is centered on the Spirit Sea and is assessed by:

• Strength — measured through a blue crystal sphere during aptitude testing. 2
• Depth — measured by the number of rune layers activated on a testing platform. 2
• Refinement — Benjamin deliberately displays Level Six refinement while concealing his actual excess power. 2
• Control — used to construct and maintain Truth Runes, Wizardry Models, and the Ring of Truth. 8 101 222

Wizard spellcasting depends on spiritual power to construct Wizardry Models and manipulate environmental elemental particles. More complex spells require greater spiritual power and computational capacity. 504

History

The Wizard World contains no natural Spirit Energy, making ordinary cultivation methods theoretically unusable there. Before entering Noren Academy, Benjamin could only rely on the obsolete Refining Essence into Qi method, consuming enormous amounts of food and bodily resources to attain the first Qi Refining layer. 1

Benjamin’s Inner Circulation Method provided the basis for his exception. Rather than drawing Spirit Energy from the environment, it forms a miniature circulation system using his own essence, qi, and spirit. It also conceals excess True Essence and spiritual power from external detection. 1 2

After completing his first Truth Rune, Benjamin gains a connection to external elemental power. By routing part of that elemental power through Inner Circulation and Refining Essence into Qi, he successfully converts mixed elemental energy into pure True Essence. This gives his cultivation a sustainable external fuel source and lets him regulate his apparent meditation speed. 11

Benjamin later confirms that his Internal Space can generate Spirit Energy without drawing energy from the outside world. Since ordinary elemental particles should not yield Spirit Energy, he concludes that his ability to cultivate in the Wizard World depends on an extraordinary mechanism connected to the Inner Circulation Method and Internal Space. 82 83

He eventually reverse-engineers the Elemental–Spiritual Power Conversion Technique. It first powers the Mystic Gang Mortal Dust Barrier and later becomes a central component of the Incense Divinity Path, allowing the Purgatory Sulfur Plane to convert elemental power and maintain a Spirit Energy environment. 157 328 337

Abilities & Applications

Perception and Sensing

Spiritual power extends Benjamin’s perception beyond ordinary senses.

• Following a major increase, it expands from less than 100 meters to several hundred meters and detects laboratory energy flow, mineral cracking, underground roots, and elemental concentrations. 63
• It can distinguish the activity and properties of nearby elements, including whether they are active, dormant, or restless. 63
• At higher cultivation, Benjamin combines spiritual-power perception with wizard detection sorcery and divine sense to search for hidden threats. 429
• Enhanced spirituality eventually makes Spiritual Power respond as naturally as Benjamin’s own fingers. 788

Alchemy and Material Manipulation

Spiritual power can shape and analyze matter through wizard Alchemy.

• Instructor Clark demonstrates basic Alchemy by using stable spiritual-power control to reshape an irregular gold lump into a precise cube. 13
• Benjamin uses spiritual power through an Alchemy Disk to envelop and manipulate gold, but initially encounters resistance from the material. 13

Spiritual power is integral to the construction and operation of Benjamin’s magical structures.

Limitations
