Benjamin and David's expressions twisted slightly.
Fortunately, Dean Avery Knight did not share Viola's twisted sense of humor.
"Do you remember the Illegal Wizard you tracked down back then?"
Dean Avery Knight's words instantly took Benjamin back nearly a thousand years.
Back when Noren Plane 147 had yet to be conquered, there had been a Sage among its natives.
At the time, it had served as a trial plane for Wizard Apprentices training as Elite Combat Units.
The Wizards had won the war not only because Benjamin had stuffed "shit" into the faith of the plane's gods, but also because David had persuaded that Sage to decapitate the native leadership.
He had made considerable contributions toward helping the Wizards take the main plane of the Noren Plane 147 cluster.
Everything should have proceeded smoothly. After all, the Wizards had never intended to violate the agreement David and the Sage had reached.
The local natives were continuously transformed and integrated into Wizard Civilization, accepting new rules and beginning new lives.
But unexpectedly, the one who ultimately went wrong was that Sage.
He became an Illegal Wizard and attempted to open a spatial passage through sacrifice, summoning a Destruction Demon God from another civilization to destroy Wizard Civilization. Of course, although he had been a Sage among the natives, he was still limited by his own knowledge.
Given the Sage's limited understanding, he did not know that even if he truly succeeded, the army from the plane where that so-called "Destruction Demon God" resided would at most cause some damage to Noren Plane 147.
And that was indeed what happened.
After Benjamin and David discovered his plan, they chose to go with the flow.
They only appeared with
