Benjamin's consciousness slowly condensed into a physical form before the gates of the Great Dao Library.
He raised a hand and pushed open the white jade doors.
Beyond them lay a sea of books that stretched almost beyond sight. Layer upon layer of bookshelves rose like mountain ranges, vanishing into the darkness beneath an invisible dome. The forms of existence of Reflected Dimension creatures had already surpassed the reach of conventional perception; even the All-Purpose Eye could not truly catch their traces.
He had survived the previous encounter by forcibly enduring it with his Body Tempering Method. As for the final monster, he had only barely managed to kill it by using simulated life-force absorption signals in conjunction with Viola's Law of Pain.
That level of response was far from enough.
Moreover, the upcoming planar war he had to face was also related to the Reflected Dimension. Though in theory it involved only a group of subordinate races fortunate enough to acquire the relevant knowledge, if something happened, it would be too late to react.
So Benjamin knew very clearly that he needed a method that could truly perceive the Reflected Dimension.
Benjamin's consciousness quickly sorted through the criteria he needed: usable at the Dao-Integration Realm or above, a perception-type spell, preferably one capable of crossing dimensional barriers, or at the very least one able to analyze unconventional forms of existence.
Large numbers of jade slips flew out from the Great Dao Library. One after another, they lit up beneath the touch of his consciousness, then swiftly dimmed again.
