He made no effort to concentrate that terrifying energy. Instead, it spread naturally in every direction with each breath of his Dharma Image.
The city below shook violently under the radiation of this power. Defensive runes lit up across countless buildings, only to dim rapidly a few breaths later, as though even the plane itself feared the behemoth in the sky.
The Spirit Race's powerhouses reacted quickly.
Accompanied by sharp waves of mental energy, several formidable auras shot skyward from deep within the city. One was especially astonishing, clearly having reached the level of a Level 7 Lifeform.
It belonged to a Spirit Race commander over a hundred meters tall, whose body was covered in layers of dark purple carapace. Dozens of thick tendrils extended from its back, with dense mental power gathered at their tips.
The commander had no intention of testing him. Upon seeing that Benjamin was alone, it attacked outright.
A terrifying psychic blast, wrapped in dark purple radiance, hurtled toward Benjamin, visibly warping the space along its path.
Yet the commander had advanced only a few kilometers before it stopped moving.
"Aaaah!!!" An agonized scream rang across the sky.
The Level 7 Sacred Spirit Commander's entire body suddenly convulsed. Large sections of its carapace instantly turned charred black, and its internal mental fluctuations descended into chaos
