Forest Cabin!
The pirate monsters dropped to the ground like dumplings. Some were unlucky enough to break a leg or snap their necks, but after only a few seconds, their injuries healed completely. Then they howled and charged at the tourists, brandishing their cutlasses.
Boom!
The tourists scattered in every direction like ants from a nest doused with boiling water, fleeing in a frenzy.
Lei Bo and the others were running too. They'd even dumped all the supplies Lin Baici had left behind because they were too much of a burden.
At a time like this, staying alive was what mattered.

Zhou Jing cursed.
He'd seen Pirates of the Caribbean. The humanoid monsters jumping down from the ship were like medieval pirates on a rampage, pillaging and killing. Their laughter was full of malice and cruelty.

Gunshots rang out in waves. As the wind swept past, the smell of gunpowder drifted through the air.
"Lei Bo, hurry and think of some—"
Zhou Jing hadn't finished speaking when a sharp pain struck his lower back. The agony made him stumble and fall to the ground.
He glanced over his shoulder. Blood was spreading, soaking through his jacket.
"Lei Bo, help me!"
Zhou Jing shouted, all the color draining from his face.
He'd been shot.
Lei Bo glanced back and saw the blood covering Zhou Jing's lower back. He knew Zhou Jing was done for.
Even if there had been a chance to save him, Lei Bo wouldn't have dared to go back. A pirate with a red bandana wrapped around his head was already charging toward Zhou Jing.
"Fuck you!"
Zhou Jing cursed furiously, panicked and angry.
If he'd known Lei Bo was such a coward, he would've been better off going with Lin Baici.
