In this predicament, everyone was struggling just to look after themselves. There was no way they could help the boss; some even wanted to kill him.

Afraid of the zombies, everyone had refused to stay by the Forest Cabin. They'd listened to him and run along with him.

They'd thought he could lead them to safety. They hadn't expected it to end like this.

What a bastard!

If they'd known, they might as well have followed that handsome guy.

These people just didn't want to take any risks. If they'd held out at the Forest Cabin, they would've had a chance to survive.

And now?

Quite a few people regretted their choice and wanted to go back. But when they saw the terrifying zombies chasing them, no one dared.

That just went to show the boss had some nerve.

"What are you trying to do?"

His lover burst into frightened tears.

Everyone had run off, and the zombies were getting closer. Was he planning to wait here and die?

"Shut up!"

The boss snapped. Seeing that the timing was about right, he grabbed his lover and ran back. "This way! Hurry!"

"Have you gone crazy?"

His lover was terrified.

"If you want to live, keep up!"

That was what the boss said, but he didn't let go. She was his cannon fodder. How could he let her get away so easily?

The zombies up ahead spotted them and came over.

The boss breathed a sigh of relief.

Thank goodness!

At least not all the zombies came over. Those thirty or forty meters off to either side kept chasing the tourists ahead.

They didn't care about him!

That left a gap between the zombies in front of the boss and the ones to his sides.

That was his chance to survive!
