The so-called basic qualities included stamina, Body Strength, speed, explosive power, Coordination Ability, and more. Some Pokémon also focused on training Psychic Power.

Stamina affected a Pokémon's ability to fight continuously.

Body Strength affected a Pokémon's resistance to attacks, as well as its own offensive ability. For example, with Tackle, the level of a Pokémon's Body Strength had a considerable impact on the move's power. In addition, certain Pokémon body parts could store Infinity Energy, but that would not be discussed for now.

As for speed, it was an even broader concept. A Pokémon's reaction speed, movement speed, and speed at gathering Infinity Energy all counted as speed.

Explosive power was also important depending on the Pokémon and the training method, while Fang Yuan believed Coordination Ability was equally indispensable.

In the anime, there had been a profession called Coordinator, but it did not exist in this world.
