What a Fast AWP!

"mezii, don't peek. Just hide at the Bomb Site and hold the angle. poizon's already set up at A Door. They can only come back through A Short or CT Base." ALEX glanced at mezii's health and hurried to warn him.

But unlike ALEX's cautious approach, poizon at A Door made a decidedly bold move.

He flanked A Short from A Door.

The reason poizon did this was simple.

Eternal Fire were already retaking at a numbers disadvantage, so he could safely assume the CTs would group up to trade kills.

Wan Ji Qi, watching poizon's flank in the Livestream Room at 6657, suddenly narrowed his eyes.

In a 4v3, poizon's move was a little too bold.

"Hey, we can see that even though the bomb's planted at A Long, poizon isn't going to the A Long pit to hold the angle."

Wan Ji Qi's voice suddenly rose.

"What? He's flanking A Short from A Door!"

"Will the CTs at A Short notice?"

"They haven't. Eternal Fire took too long clearing A Short. They're moving too slowly."

With his flank in place, poizon gave Eternal Fire no chance.

Although XANTARES near the Ninja Box at A Short turned around and took poizon out with a single shot, the remaining Fnatic players quickly pinpointed XANTARES and traded him.

The score reached 1–0.

In the second round, Fnatic, having won the Pistol Round, went straight for a fast push through A Door.

KRIMZ, in the lead, used a Flashbang to take A without a scratch, but poizon behind him was blown down to just 30 HP.

"There might be someone hiding by the car. Throw me an Incendiary." KRIMZ hugged the wall, ready for his teammate to throw the fire by the car.

Hearing KRIMZ's call, mezii immediately pulled out an Incendiary Grenade and jumped to throw it at the spot.

"I'll swing with you from the back." As the Incendiary burst, poizon hurriedly scoped in and swung out.

"Pop." A Scout Rifle bullet greeted him.

Badly wounded by the grenade, poizon was finished off with a single Scout Rifle shot by woxic, who'd been flushed out from the car.

But woxic wouldn't get the chance to fire a second shot.

KRIMZ swung out from close range and used his AK to finish off woxic, who was still standing in the fire.

Calyx, who swung out from CT Base hoping to trade, was also taken out by a headshot from Qin Feng's AK, held from the back.

The three CTs left, who'd gambled on B, had already given up on retaking.

The score raced to 2–0.

As for the third round, the three Desert Eagles Eternal Fire had saved didn't work any miracles either.

Losing only poizon's Mac-10, Fnatic tore through the defense at Eternal Fire's B Site Bomb.

With the bomb about to explode, Wan Ji Qi in the Livestream Room finally stopped chatting with the viewers.

"Just as expected, the score's now 3–0."

"Fnatic's first Gun Round is coming up. I wonder if God A, poizon, will buy an AWP."

"He really did buy one. I hope God A—"

"Wait, what? God A gave the AWP to Aether and picked up the AK Aether threw him."

"Is it because Aether has the better position? That doesn't seem right. poizon's clearly closer to Mid and A Door."

"Could Fnatic have changed their tactics and made Aether the team's primary AWPer?"

After Qin Feng received the AWP from poizon, he didn't ask a teammate to Double-peek with him from Dark.

The whole Fnatic team was positioned too close to B Site.

"I'll check B and see if I can steal a shot." Qin Feng looked at his teammates. "Can someone hold B1 for me?"

ALEX checked his position and nodded. "I'll throw a few Flashbangs at A Door this round. You guys follow Aether to B."

"Someone else, help Qin Feng hold B1. If we can pick off a CT at B, we'll push in right away."

Over on Eternal Fire's side, since they'd forced the second round, woxic naturally hadn't been able to get the AWP he loved.

"We can't watch Mid. Let's rush A Long with three." After speaking, woxic glanced at xfl0ud, who was alone on B. "Be careful, xfl0ud. They might still have the Submachine Gun from earlier. Watch out for a RUSH."

"Don't worry, I'll throw fire right away." As he spoke, xfl0ud tossed his Incendiary Grenade toward B Main.

When the Terrorists didn't immediately put out the fire and push through the smoke, xfl0ud relaxed and went to B Site's Big Box, showing just the top of his head as he strafed to check.

But Qin Feng had already been holding the angle down B Main for several seconds.

Under Absolute Focus, Qin Feng's attention didn't waver. Instead, it grew sharper the longer he held the angle.

Even with the Incendiary's black smoke obscuring his view, Qin Feng pulled the trigger the instant he saw the top of a head.

"Did Aether even see him?"

As Wan Ji Qi exclaimed, the director promptly showed a replay.

Even with the director kindly slowing it to half speed, the viewers in the Livestream Room could barely make out a head flickering behind the smoke.

[So it's an aimbot. Confirmed.]

[Th-that can't be right, can it? After holding the angle that long, shouldn't his reaction have slowed down? How was that AWP so fast?]

[God A, my superhero!]

With xfl0ud giving up a kill and smoke sealing B Door, XANTARES abandoned the idea of retaking and went to A Long to save his gun with his teammates.

woxic, holding the A Long AWP angle, glanced at xfl0ud beside him. "Didn't I tell you to be careful? Once we cleared A with three, we could've sent one back to B. There was no need to risk pushing up."

xfl0ud: ...

He was helpless, too.

That Aether's reaction with the AWP had just been too fast.

To be safe, he'd only shown the very top of his head through the smoke from the burning Incendiary to check.

Who knew Aether would still take him out with one shot?

"My bad." After thinking for a long while, that was all xfl0ud could say.

"It's fine. We saved four guns, so we'll still have a full buy next round." Seeing his teammate was feeling down, Clyax hurried to explain for xfl0ud. "The main thing is, we didn't know their AWPer was pushing B Main. There was nothing you could do once you got caught off guard."

As the remaining Eternal Fire players saved their guns, the score, as expected, went straight to 4–0.

Since they'd bought out this round, woxic was still holding the rifle he'd saved from the previous one.

Perhaps worried Fnatic would attack B again, Eternal Fire chose the safest setup: a 2-1-2 formation.

But in the fifth round, Fnatic chose to fight for A Long. Qin Feng, leading with his AWP, picked off the CT at the A Long Exit Point the instant he was blinded.

"He peeked with a prefire while blinded and killed me." woxic, who'd swung out, now understood xfl0ud's frustration. "Their AWPer got into the pit. Maybe we should leave B and gamble on A."

xfl0ud nodded and immediately abandoned the defense at B, hurrying toward A.

Fnatic's attack, however, flowed seamlessly.

After Qin Feng entered the pit, the Terrorists sealed off the CT Base angles with two smokes.
